Apr 21, Safety of L-Lysine/item 3

Here is what we find on this info sheet on the safety of L-Lysine:

Toxicity to Animals: Acute oral toxicity 10000 mg/kg [Rat].

Translated into understandable terms, this means that L-lysine has been found to be toxic, for rats, when ingested in the amount equivalent to 10 grams per kilogram of body weight. In other words, if we take this to mean that a similar toxic threshold would apply to humans, a person weighing 150 pounds (approximately 70 kilos) would have to ingest 700 grams (700,000 mg), all at once, of L-lysine before suffering from toxic blood levels of it.

In my Herpes Protocol, the highest recommended daily amount, only taken for a few days, is 20,000 mg, which is divided into 4 separate doses of 5000 mg each.

As you can see, those of you who wonder, even at the highest dose, you are still 695,000 mg. away from trouble.

For the record.

Apr 13, My response

I have recently stumbled upon a Herpes Forum where people are having a debate about this website. I couldn't believe it! While innocent newcomers inquire as to the validity of my Protocol, some rather ignorant and/or malicious losers are sewing inaccurate, misleading and fear-inducing information about L-lysine. Why are they doing this? I don't know. Maybe they have some hidden agenda.

I assure you I would not be wasting my time and money writing and up-keeping this site just so I can lose my reputation, let alone cause anyone any harm. On the contrary, my intention is to help people, in sharing something which, over the years, has never hurt anyone and has brought lots of healing to those who needed it.

In any case, if you feel uncertain and/or confused by some negative comment you've heard or read, rest assured that you can still benefit from my Protocol.

Please read my recently expanded explanation on this issue on the Healing Herpes page.

Apr 8, Maintenance Herpes Protocol is finally up!

On this page I give folks a chance to complete the picture and get the "other" HP version, the Maintenance Version.

Remember though: in your own best interest, and in all fairness, you won't be able to get to the Maintenance Version page unless you take a few initial steps.

A simple way of making sure you get as complete a picture as possible, before choosing to implement the Herpes Protocol.
