How To Keep Yourself Herpes Free:
Maintenance Phase Herpes Protocol
How to remain Herpes free?
This is what a Herpes rash looks like when the blisters are almost gone. As you can see, they are still visible, but they no longer hurt, itch or burn and the skin around them no longer looks inflamed.
However, especially with Chicken Pox, some of the larger blisters, those that may have been scratched the most, can leave behind a permanent mark, resembling the scar sometimes caused by Small Pox vaccinations.
Below is an example of what I mean.
As you can see, in spite of the suffering it causes, Herpes is rather forgiving, when it comes to scars. But while the visible signs of infection are barely detectable, in most cases, for most folks, the psychological implications of living with Herpes are serious and long lasting.
Almost unanimously, when Herpes sufferers describe what it's like to cope with Herpes, they admit that the biggest challenge lies in the loss of self-esteem and self-confidence that come with never knowing when an outbreak might show up, as well as the fear of losing other people's love and trust and the threat of ending up alone and unwanted, like damaged goods, as a result of being found out. Not to mention the shame of revealing one's status to a possible lover or partner and/or the guilt involved with the possibility of infecting those we love most.
SO, HOW DO WE AVOID ALL OF THE ABOVE AND REMAIN HERPES-FREE?
After the Acute Version of the Herpes Protocol® has been successfully implemented and the blisters are gone, or just about, it is best to decrease L-lysine intake by one gram a day until one gets down to three grams per day, 3000 mg., taken in two separate doses of 1500 mg. each, and continue to take that amount for at the very least 6 month, better yet, a couple of years, if one is determined to remain Herpes free.
As far as the zinc goes, 25 to 30 mg. a day will suffice and I would recommend staying at this dose for 6 months, while the Goldenseal Root capsules are to be taken only in the Acute Version of the Herpes Protocol®, since Goldenseal is a powerful antibiotic and we don't want to overdo it.
Glutathione, affectionally known as Glute, is ALWAYS recommended in my book, permanently, since it is the most needed anti-oxidant, at least 1 teaspoon a day, or about 1 gram, but it is not an absolute requirement for achieving a Herpes free life. In other words, the Protocol will work anyway, even without taking Glutathione on an ongoing basis.
That's it. In the unlikely eventuality whereby a flare-up of symptoms might ensue, all one has to do is immediately switch, (and when I say immediately I mean as soon as one feels the unwelcome itching and skin tension that announce a blistering. DO NOT WAIT FOR THE ACTUAL BLISTER TO APPEAR, before taking action)go back on the Acute Version of the Herpes Protocol® and follow it until symptoms subside.
Even though, when the Herpes Protocol® is followed exactly as I give it, relapses are rare, they are possible, especially if people experience stress, either good or bad. The good news is that relapses, when they occur, don't last nearly as long, nor are they are severe as the original symptoms used to be, assuming one follows the Protocol® as given.
From what I have observed, when folks stay on the Maintenance Herpes Protocol® for a couple of years, they are eventually able to get off the nutrients and remain permanently Herpes free.
